US Market Entry & Client Prospecting

"Identify and qualify European companies that are strong candidates for US expansion — and support Alaina in converting them into consulting clients."

Day-to-Day

  • Research European companies by sector, size, and expansion signals that are likely candidates for US market entry
  • Build and maintain a structured prospect database — company, decision-maker, LinkedIn profile, pain points
  • Monitor news triggers (funding rounds, new hires, trade show announcements) signalling US expansion intent
  • Draft outreach sequences in English and French for LinkedIn and email
  • Prepare briefing notes on target prospects ahead of Alaina's outreach calls
  • Track and report weekly on pipeline activity

Ideal Profile

A self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told what to do. Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by working in a fast-moving, small consulting environment. Brings an entrepreneurial mindset — they think about the bigger picture, not just the task in front of them.

Requirements

Fluent in English — written and spoken, professional level, non-negotiable
French or another European language required as a second language
Curious — genuine interest in international business and market dynamics
Adaptable — able to pivot when priorities shift or new opportunities emerge
Entrepreneurial mindset — thinks beyond the task
Comfortable working independently 4 days a week
